Information possession registration needs to be preserved on chain for at least 30 years, China’s Shenzhen government stated in a draft proposal of its information property rights registration regime revealed on Monday.

Below the proposal, information house owners can declare property rights of their information which were consensually collected by companies and their derivatives by submitting a registration with the related authorities.
After registration, information house owners will obtain a certificates of possession for “information property,” which will be traded within the information market or used as belongings for financing and accounting functions.
Final December, China published pointers to construct a regulated information market, laying out plans for a regulatory framework on information possession.
Shenzhen is soliciting public opinions on the draft till Mar. 17.
